Seats Frog guide

Embed Seats Frog on your site

Free, live airline seat maps for your blog or travel agency site, drawn from the airlines' own layouts with the good and bad seats marked. Copy the code, paste it in, and keep the credit link.

For bloggers and travel agents

We want to be the definitive source for unbiased, up-to-date travel data. Our goal is to help consumers make educated decisions about travel, and your readers and clients are those consumers.

Put our live data on your own pages, for free. Every embed loads from Seats Frog, so it stays current without you touching it, and carries no ads and no tracking.

All we ask is that you credit us

We are a young site, so backlinks matter a great deal to us. Keep the credit line that comes with the code, or link to Seats Frog in your own words. Questions? Email founder@loungefrog.com.

How do I add an embed to my site?

  1. Pick an embed

Choose one from the catalog below, or open any page with an “Embed this” panel.

  2. Copy its code

Press Copy code. The code is a frame, a one-line credit and a tiny script that sizes the frame.

  3. Paste it into your page

Paste it as HTML where it should appear. It fills the width it is given and sets its own height.

Where to paste the code in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and more
WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block and paste the code.
Squarespace
Add a Code block, leave it set to HTML, and paste the code.
Webflow
Drag a Code Embed element onto the page and paste the code.
Ghost
Add an HTML card and paste the code.
Blogger
Switch the post editor to HTML view and paste the code.
Wix
Add Embed Code › Embed HTML and paste the code, then drag the box tall enough to fit.
Anything else
Paste the code into the page's HTML. With several embeds on one page, the script line is only needed once.

Seat maps

Questions about embedding

Is it free to embed Seats Frog?

Yes. There is no sign-up, key or fee. Copy the code for any of the 8 embeds on this page, or from the “Embed this” panel on a page, and paste it into your site. All we ask is that you keep the credit link to Seats Frog.

Why do you ask for a link back?

Seats Frog is a young site, so links from blogs and travel agencies are how readers and search engines find us. The code already includes a one-line credit; keeping it, or linking to us in your own words, is all we ask.

Will the embeds stay up to date?

Yes. Every embed loads from our site, so when the data changes (a lounge's hours, a seat map, a points value, a drinks price) every embedded copy changes with it. You never need to update the code.

Can travel agents and businesses use the embeds?

Yes. Travel agents, agencies, newsletters, publishers and bloggers can all use them, on commercial sites too, as long as the credit stays.

Do the embeds show ads or track my readers?

No. Embeds carry no ads and no analytics, and anything your readers type into a calculator stays in their browser.

Can I match my site's colors?

Each embed takes the width of the space you give it and sets its own height. For a dark site, add ?theme=dark to the end of the frame's address (the src in the code).

Which seat maps can I embed?

Every one. Each seat map page has an “Embed this seat map” panel with its own code, so you can put the exact aircraft and layout your post is about on the page.

Who do I ask about embeds?

Email founder@loungefrog.com with questions, a request for a new embed, or a correction.
